Bach in the Garden Festival

As the festival coordinator for Sakıp Sabancı Museum and Hakan Erdogan Productions from 2018-2021, I had the opportunity to direct the music and design the flyers and covers for the Bach in the Garden Summer Festival in Istanbul in 2020. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we also created a social outreach campaign called "Mesafene Bach" which played on the words "Mind your distance" and Bach, the festival's main theme. To promote our new normal amid the health crisis, I designed a custom typography exclusively for the festival and used it to create billboards throughout the city.

My job description for this position:

While doing a Bachelor’s in Psychology,

- Coordinated month-long classical music and jazz festivals of Hakan Erdoğan Productions in the Sakıp Sabancı Museum

- Worked as the manager of in-house departments like stage operations, sound design team and hospitality

- Handled the communication between our organization and sponsors

- Reached out to international and local talents in the field of Baroque and Jazz, assisted the musicians throughout the festival process.

- Managed event websites, ads & press relations

- Created and curated visual and written content

I also designed the festival booklet.
